Details:

The powerful archmage has a simple training method for his pupils: toss them into a magical pit and see if they survive. You just signed a contract to be his pupil! Go from a slow apprentice with nothing to wielding power you've only dreamt about. Power comes with a cost, though—you must bring the archmage rare magical resources in exchange for his training.
